So you saw Tanner's girlfriend yesterday, Alicia, and a sneak of his photos with them as a couple. Tanner's photos turned out just as awesome as Alicia's! Tanner is more understated and quite at times than some teens. Then again, he has a right to be, he's got his path thought out in front of him. He's already signed up and going forward soon after he graduates.Read More

Hey guys, this is Joe, the "J" of JNT.. I kinda hijacked the blog today. Please don't mind the muffled sounds of Tiffany ducted taped in the other room. She has her favorite color PINK duct tape and I put one of her favorite movies on so she'll be fine. I just might have to make a fast getaway when she gets loose. HAHAHAHA! She might be small, but she's still a tough cookie!
When the husband is your second shooter at a wedding, here is some points to remember for both the main shooter and the couple...
1. Remember he is your husband.
He will pack all of your gear, hold your cameras, line the wedding party up, run around and gear things you need, hand out cards and so on.....and he works for cheap, beer.. well and food. food is always good as long as there is beer too.
2. People who get upset at the wedding or who think they are pros with a camera or just are mean are a challenge for the husband.
He is a quiet creature, who is happy being with you but happier with you at home and in his easy chair. When mad mom's and bride yell at him because we are the ones shooting and we say "no, we won't use your point and shoot camera" or "no, we won't take photos with your phone." He doesn't handle this well, and tends to get a little ouchy.....without well...beer.
3. He gets sidetracked easily.
Shiny things, talking to guys about hunting spots, fishing spots, etc... so point him in the right direction and pat him on his head.....and remember.... beer
4. What do you mean, "No open bar for me".
Yeah, yeah yeah.. I know we are working.. I really do.. the beer comes later when the work is done. Just don't forget it.. please!! Beer is good.. Speed-clad photobombers BAD!! Us husbands need eye bleach after those!! And then LOTS of beer!!
5. He loves you and he wants to see you succeed, he wants you happy.
That's it.. yep.. that's all for number 5.. pretty simple from a guy.
Oh I think her movie is almost done, I better see how mad she is... I hope she's not too mad because, I hear a beer and arm chair calling me. I don't see what's so tough about this blogging stuff.. all though her addiction to this list thing really needs to stop... I just can't find a specialist for that yet. I'm still looking.
Thanks you all!
P.S. I'm sure I am banned from blogging after this... I might have to hijack it again.
I have been having a lot of people asking me questions about what they should do and what they should know to ask photographers. I don't mind being open and honest, I want my clients to be well informed and to be able to come to me knowing that they have someone that is going to give them the best service and they are going to have FUN, have memories of the time they spend with us at our sessions, and have beautiful artwork at the end of everything.Read More
