A snowy engagement shoot.. In April?!?!?!

Welcome to Wyoming in the Spring. LOL

Ryan and Monica were such good sports. And I do believe Monica enjoyed the snow!! I was a bit unsure how she survived wearing a dress in the cold. And I have to admit I was relieved when she changed to jeans!! All though it wasn't sub-zero, I was still wearing my snow suit. HAHAHA! Joe and I took them up to the mountains for the shoot. The main roads were clear, but some of the snow was even knee deep on Joe! And that's saying something!

Wedding Rehearsal!!?!?!?! Because you sometimes have to go it alone......

Let's try to think about this.......  It's almost time for your wedding rehearsal, and you're ready to start figuring out how the ceremony is going to flow. Maybe you're lucky enough to have a wedding planner helping, or maybe you're the point person who will be herding turtles. Either way, here are some of our wedding rehearsal tips for making sure your rehearsal is useful and as worry-free as humanly possible. Because you sometimes have to go it alone! Yep, believe or not you are on your own doing the rehearsal. Some officiants are so busy they  have other weddings the day before your wedding, do rehearsals the day of the wedding, or just don't do rehearsals at all. I'm hoping that I can help you with so things to work you through that. And I want to make sure that I say, it's EXTREMELY important to run through your ceremony a couple times when you have children involved in it so they know what to do and where to stand.

It's my BIG day!!! How do I know when to schedule what when?!?!?!?!

Ok, everyone.. I'm trying to sneak this list one in with Joe in town and hopefully I won't get attacked with duct tape!!  Are you ready??  Because this one is a long one!!!!! And it's FULL of USEFUL information!!!

Joe and I get asked all the time when we are at weddings, "When should we do the first dance?". Or Even when a bride comes and books a wedding they ask "When should you come to start shooting?" Well, hopefully I can shed some light to some with this blog. MOST IMPORTANT thing to remember about timelines on your wedding day is it's a GUIDELINE!! It is NOT the END of the world if something goes awry and gets off schedule!! Second important thing to do is ALWAYS ADD wiggle room one way or the other for special circumstances so you don't have to worry about the small stuff that pops up! It's going to happen.. and its your day.. you don't need to worry about it. That's the job of your Wedding Planner or your Bridesmaids. I will say this... some reason I have yet to figure out, the majority of weddings tend to have a natural six hour cycle for wedding to the end of reception. So for the timeline, we will use that six hour figure. Now on to the timeline... YAY!!!

Fly Fishing Engagement Shoot.. and NO Photo Bombers!!!

Joe and I did a fly fishing engagement shoot with this absolute darling couple, Kalli and Dallen!! And YES!!!  You read that right!!! There was no photo bombing cat, dog, rattlesnake, or speedo clad photo bomber!!! I do believe this was the first shoot that was not a wedding that we didn't have some sort of a photo bombing happen!! We knew it was bound to happen.. just WOW!!!

Kalli and Dallen were sooooooo adorably in love you could see it in just about ever photo we took!! Joe and I had so much fun with them!

Joe and I can hardly wait to be at their wedding here coming up soon. It's going to be so much fun!! And we can hardly wait to see their cutey little girl again!

Love, Light, and Blessings to you and yours,

Tiffany
